Worldwide, over 59 million children of primary-school age are not in school. Girls are at particular risk of not being enrolled in school in developing countries. Primary education provides a wider world view, increased earnings potential, better health decisions, and a chance at a more meaningful life.
Grace Private School has multiple classes for Kindergarten -through ninth grades, with an enrollment in the Fall of 2022 of over 650 students. The children have their own textbooks, a rarity in Mali. Teachers are well trained and committed to providing the best education in town.

Ibrahima Kodio has a deep love for God, which overflows into a desire to share the Gospel with his fellow Malians. His desire to begin a Christian school naturally formed from his love for the town of Koro and his desire to see a decrease in poverty. He dreamed that the children in his growing family could have a quality Christian education. Ibrahima's wife, Rachel, is instrumental in running the day to day operations of Grace Private School.

The Grace Private School building project has been an exciting vision which God made real. The original grass hut school location was not an ideal learning environment, and the non-Christian landlord was not always cooperative. Purchasing land and building a school paved the way for a much smoother educational environment. The three-story building was completed by 2018, becoming the largest structure in town. A large, multi-room Kindergarten was soon built next door. In 2020 a new building to expand the primary school was completed. And with much support from donors and incredible effort from Ibrahima, Grace High School began enrolling students in the fall of 2022.
